HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. - The Chicago Storm pro indoor soccer team makes its way to Judson University in Elgin, Ill., where the Chicago Bandits pro fastpitch softball team celebrates "Chicago Storm Day" on Sunday, June 29. The Bandits host the Venezuelan National Team at 3:05 p.m. at Judson, 1151 N. State St., located near Route 31 and I-90, in Elgin.
Storm fans can purchase Bandits tickets for only $5 apiece and sit together in Section 113. Additionally, the first 200 fans receive a free Storm noisemaker, and there are four team raffle giveaways. Storm players, members of the Storm Chasers dance team and Striker also are on hand to meet-and-greet and sign autographs. As part of the Bandits' promotions, Dairy Queen is giving away a free Dilly Bar to all of the kids.
So get your dose of the Storm, visit the team's promotional booth and watch a star-studded Bandits squad that includes U.S. National Team members Jennie Finch and Vicky Galindo.
The Chicago Bandits have been members of the National Pro Fastpitch league since 2005. This is the Bandits' first season at Judson University after playing their first three seasons at Benedictine University in Lisle, Ill.
