Chicago Sky News Release
CHICAGO, June 23, 2010 - The Chicago Sky is pleased to announce the tip off of the 2010 Chicago Sky All-Star Reading Team Program.
Chicago Sky athletes will visit libraries all over the greater Chicago area throughout the summer to interact with children by reading to them, answering questions, signing autographs and taking pictures.
This Thursday, the Chicago Sky's All-Star center Sylvia Fowles will be at the Berwyn Public Library at 2701 S. Harlem Ave. in Berwyn, IL at 3:00pm.
Each participating library will be provided with 40 tickets to one of two Sky games. The libraries will then select their reading all-star team and award two tickets to each of the team members.
On the nights of August 14 and August 20, the Sky will host the Chicago Sky All-Star Reading Team members for a pre-game reading session with one of the Sky athletes. All-Star Reading Team members will also receive Sky t-shirt; take a group photo with the rest of the All-Star Reading Team on the court and get tickets to the post-game autograph session.
