
Chicago Sky Announce 2012 Broadcast Schedule

CHICAGO, May 8, 2012 - The Chicago Sky announced today the team's broadcast schedule for 2012, which includes one national and 27 locally televised contests. Additionally, fans can watch every Sky contest via WNBA LiveAccess at www.chicagosky.net .
CN100, part of the Comcast Network, will showcase 15 home and 12 Sky road contests in 2012. Tipping off the season the Sky will battle against their conference rival Washington Mystics on Saturday, May 19 at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Sky's home opener vs. the Indiana Fever on Friday, May 25 at 7:30 p.m.
Other highlights of the local television package include televised road games versus the 2011 WNBA scoring leader Angel McCoughtry and the Eastern Conference Champion Atlanta Dream on June 2 and against the explosive Cappie Pondexter and the New York Liberty on June 10.
On Saturday, June 23, the Sky will be featured nationally on ESPN in a road game against the defending WNBA Champion Minnesota Lynx featuring All-Stars Maya Moore and Seimone Augustus.
Now in his third season as the voice of the Sky, Brent Stover will call the play-by-play on all CN100 Sky telecasts and WNBA Live-Access webcasts. Working alongside Stover as color analyst will be Patricia Babcock McGraw, who has covered the Sky since the team's inception.
