Chicago Rush News Release

The Chicago Rush will celebrate its 2006 ArenaBowl XX title and distribute the team's championship rings at a ceremony on Thursday, February 8, at the Rosemont Theatre, the team announced today.

"It is a night that I have been looking forward to for a long time," said Rush owner Mike Ditka. "It will give our fans and players one last chance to celebrate the 2006 season before we get to work on trying to repeat as champions in 2007."

The private event, which begins at 6:30 p.m., will be open only to Rush season ticket holders, media and special guests. It will be hosted by Rush play-by-play announcer Tom Dore and feature performances by the SoBe Adrenaline Rush Dancers and the much-anticipated, world premier of the team's highlight video "The Determined Champions - The Story of the 2006 Chicago Rush."

Team owners Mike Ditka, Alan Levin, Peter Levin and Arthur Price will be in attendance to honor the players and coaches that brought Chicago its first ArenaBowl title. After joining everyone in re-living the 2006 title run with the debut of the video, the owners will distribute the championship rings.

Rush season ticket holders who attend the event will be able to pick up their tickets for the 2007 season at the theater prior to the start of the program. In addition, all season ticket holders will receive a complimentary DVD of the video.
