Chicago Regains Control In Week 3 Coaches Poll
April 21, 2010 - Arena Football League (AFL) News Release
TULSA - The Chicago Rush have climbed back to the top of the coaches poll this week on the heels of their 70-56 victory over the Arizona Rattlers last Saturday. The Rush are the sole team with a record of 3-0, with two of their victories coming on the road.
Tulsa dropped to No. 2 after spending a week at the top. They observed their first bye of the season in Week 3 action, but are set to face Arizona on Friday in Phoenix. Milwaukee remained at No. 3 despite their 65-48 home victory over their division rival Iowa Barnstormers.
The biggest climber from last week were the Spokane Shock. They were ranked No. 9 in the Week 2 poll after starting their season 1-1. Their sole loss was versus the Milwaukee Iron in Week 1. However, the Shock climbed five spots to No. 4 this week after they pulled out a victory over the previously undefeated Bossier-Shreveport BattleWings, 78-70. The Dallas Vigilantes took the largest plunge, dropping four spots after their 41-54 loss against Tampa Bay.
