
Chicago Machine training camp kicks off April 29th

This Saturday, April 29, thirty-plus men will come together in Chicago to try-out for a position on Chicago's new Major League Lacrosse team - the Chicago Machine - at the historical Knute Rockne Stadium at Roosevelt and Central. Some of the lacrosse all-stars coming to Chicago include Kevin Leveille (A), Doug Shanahan (M), Damien Davis (D), and Todd Rassas (D). For the next three weekends, Machine Head Coach, Kevin Finneran, will decide on his team for the inaugural 2006 season.
In addition to the training camp sessions, the Chicago Machine is also offering a free youth clinic open to the public each Saturday afternoon of training camp 1:00pm-2:00pm. These youth clinics are open to both boys and girls - the boys to be taught by Machine representatives and the girls will be instructed by Lakeshore Lacrosse - a Chicago-based girls lacrosse organization. After the free clinic, the public is welcome to stay at the field for the afternoon session of Machine Training Camp to watch some of the best players in the country play lacrosse.

May 13, 2006 - Wheaton College (Wheaton, IL)
Open to the Public:
Saturdays, 1:00pm-2:00pm Free Clinic, 2:00-4:00pm Training Camp
