
Chicago Fire Players Named for International Duty Next Week

CHICAGO, IL (September 1, 2010) - Chicago Fire Soccer Club midfielder Marco Pappa and defender Deris Umanzor have been called up to the Guatemala and El Salvador National Team's roster, respectively, for their upcoming international friendly matches next week.
Marco Pappa will travel first to Fort Lauderdale, FL to represent the Guatemalan national team as they will take on Nicaragua on Saturday, Sept. 4 at Lockhart Stadium; while defender Deris Umanzor will take a trip to Los Angeles, CA as El Salvador faces Honduras on Saturday, Sept. 4 at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Following their matches, both Fire teammates will depart to Washington, D.C. with their respective national teams as they will face-off on Tuesday, Sept. 7.
