Chicago Fire Advance to Eastern Conference Final With 3-0 Win Over New England

Bridgeview, Ill. (November 6, 2008) - The Chicago Fire defeated New England 3-0 in front of 17,312 at TOYOTA PARK to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals. Chicago Fire 2008 Golden Boot winner Chris Rolfe scored the game winning goal, with insurance goals scored by defenders Wilman Conde and Gonzalo Segares. Major League Soccer Goalkeeper of the Year Jon Busch recorded the shutout. The Fire will play the winner of the Columbus-Kansas City series in the Eastern Conference Finals next Thursday, Nov. 13 (site and time TBA).
