Upper Marlboro, MD - January 23, 2008. The Chesapeake Tide of the Continental Indoor Football League (CIFL) have announced their theme nights for the upcoming 2008 season at the Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. This year's slate of six home games will feature fast-paced football action, as well as, great deals for Tide fans.
Friday, March 21st at 7:30 PM - Boy Scouts/Girl Scouts Night. The Tide is offering a great night of football action to the area's Boy Scouts and Girls Scouts at a terrific price, as they take on the defending champion Rochester Raiders. The Tide is offering Blue Section tickets for only $12 (a savings of $6 off of the regular price) for groups of ten or more. In addition the Tide will donate $2 to each unit for every ticket purchased.
Saturday, April 5th at 7:30 PM - Veterans Night. The Tide welcome division rivals, the New England Surge, and is proud to welcome our nation's Veterans and all Armed Forces. All active and retired military will receive a 20% discount off of the regular single game price with a valid military ID. Special pricing may be obtained by purchasing tickets at The Show Place Arena Box Office, during regular hours, including game day.
Sunday, April 27th at 2:30 PM - Faith and Family Day. Join the celebration, as the Tide take on another division opponent, the Lehigh Valley Outlawz. Fans may enjoy faith-based entertainment along with exciting pro indoor football action. Special group pricing is also available for groups of 12 or more.
Saturday, May 3rd at 7:30 PM - Cinco de Mayo/College Night. Need a night out as finals approach or just want to have a good time enjoying Cinco de Mayo. Well grab your college ID and head to the Show Place Arena to see the Tide battle the New Jersey Revolution. All college students will receive a 20% discount off of the regular single game price with a valid college ID. Special pricing may be obtained by purchasing tickets at The Show Place Arena Box Office, during regular hours, including game day.
Saturday, May 24th at 7:30 PM - Civil Service Night. The Marion Mayhem make the trek to Show Place Arena and the Tide want to fill the house as we honor the region's civil servants. City, County, State, Federal employees all are welcome and will receive a 20% discount off of the regular single game price with a valid government ID. Special pricing may be obtained by purchasing tickets at The Show Place Arena Box Office, during regular hours, including game day.
Saturday, May 31st at 7:30 PM - Youth Sports/Students Night. The Tide close out their 2008 campaign with a special night for the area's athletes and students, as they take on the Fort Wayne Freedom. The Tide is offering Blue Section tickets for only $12 (a savings of $6 off of the regular price) for groups of ten or more. In addition the Tide will donate $2 to each organization/team/school for every ticket purchased.
An arena facility fee of $1 will apply to all ticket orders. Parking is free! Special group pricing is available by emailing tidefootball@gmail.com.
