Chattanooga Red Wolves SC News Release
The Chattanooga Red Wolves have signed defender Travis Nicklaw pending league and federation approval.
Nicklaw is a familiar face for Chattanooga, having been with the team during the 2020 season where he played 515 minutes over seven appearances with five starts. He is returning to the Red Wolves on a 25 day contract providing additional depth and flexibility for Coach Korytoski's early season squad.
Nicklaw has proven himself to be a standout defender having been on Guam's National team since 2012. In 2015 he helped obtain a historic win over Turkmenistan (1-0) in the country's FIFA World Cup qualifying match. Four days later on June 15, 2015, Nicklaw scored his first international goal in the second match of the FIFA 2018 World Cup qualifier Group D round against India.
The Chattanooga Red Wolves SC open their regular season at 7:30PM on Saturday March 25th at CHI Memorial Stadium.
