Charlotte Eagles News Release
Well, its about that time again, the leaves are beginning to bud, winter coats are being put away, and the Charlotte Eagles golf outing is almost here! Maybe you are the type of golfer that regularly braves 20 degree weather just to get in a round, or you could be that golfer that has to wipe the inch thick layer of dust off of your clubs. Maybe you are somewhere in between, it doesn't matter! The Charlotte Eagles want you!
We would like to once again invite you to be a part of the Third Annual Charlotte Eagles Gold Outing. The golf outing is scheduled for Monday, April 5th. It will be held at Cedarwood Country Club as it has been since the inception. Proceeds from this four-person scramble event will be used to support the Charlotte Eagles Soccer Club.
The Eagles are a non-profit ministry that is part of Missionary Athletes International who has been using soccer and sports to reach families for the last 20 years.
After each flight finishes a challenging 18-hole scramble, we will conclude with a casual dinner and gold award presentation. We are planning various team and individual prizes which will include:
First, second and third place team awards
Longest drive awards-men and women
Closest to the pin awards
Hole in one awards
In addition, we are planning other fund-raising opportunities such as door prize raffles, 50/50 drawings, and par three competitions. Remember, the proceeds of the outing will go directly towards the ministry of the Charlotte Eagles.
