Charlotte, NC September 26, 2012 -- The Charlotte Copperheads kicked off their inaugural home opener on Saturday, September 22, 2012 when they welcomed the Jacksonville Bullies to Bojangles' Coliseum. Despite winning the opener last week in Jacksonville 19-14, the Copperheads were unable to string consecutive wins together against the Bullies in a 12-9 victory. The Copperheads dropped to 1-1 on the season.
Saturday nights' crowd was full of enthusiasm and very involved throughout play. Games and contests such as best dressed fan only amplified the energizing atmosphere within the Bojangles' Coliseum. The remainder of the season promises to be action-packed and full of surprises. Please join us for one of our future home games:
