
Charles Hudon awarded Michel Bergeron trophy

The Michel Bergeron trophy is awarded annually to the best offensive rookie of the year. This year the honour went to Chicoutimi Saguenéens left winger, Charles Hudon. The 16 year old played 63 games in which he scored 23 goals and 60 points. A product of the St. Eustache Vikings of the Midget AAA Hockey League, Hudon was selected sixth in the first round by the Chicoutimi Saguenéens during the 2010 Entry Draft in Drummondville. The trophy was presented to him this evening by Pierre Cardinal, Vice-President of Sales and Promotions for the Saguenéens during a pregame ceremony at the Georges-Vézina Centre.
