
Channel Cats win big

Huntsville Channel Cats News Release
Huntsville, AL â James Patterson scored a hat trick in the first 12 minutes of the game helping the Huntsville Channel Cats to a 6-1 win over the Cape Fear Fire Antz.
Patterson scored his first goal just :10 into the game, but Cape Fear responded one minute later on a goal by Chris Migliore. It was all Cats after that.
Allan Carr scored back-to-back goals in the first period at the 5:54 mark and the 7:41 mark before Patterson added two more at 9:54 and 12:22.
Luke Phillips scored the sixth goal at the 12:57 mark of the second period.
Patterson and Carr also added one assist each while Jason deGuehery and Dan Buccella each added two. Shawn Martin and Mike Degurse had one assist each.
Marc Milburn and Rob Vessio each had assists for the Fire Antz.
Matt Carmichael stopped 19 shots in the win while Glenn Ridley stopped 61 in the loss. He faced 34 shots in the first period alone.
The Channel Cats will host Winston-Salem tomorrow night at 7:05.
