Channel Cats Win, 5-3

Huntsville, AL – The Huntsville Channel Cats got five goals from five different players on their way to a 5-3 win over the Winston-Salem T-Birds Thursday night.

Dan Kletke, James Patterson, Mike Degurse, Allan Carr and Luke Phillips all scored in the win. Carr added two assists while Patterson, Degurse, Jessi Otis and Dan Buccella all had one.

Gary Williford, Marcus Willy and Jason Sanguillano all scored goals for Winston-Salem. Williford, Sanguillano and Frantisek Bakrlik all had one assist.

Scott Graham started in goal for the Channel Cats and got his fourth win off the season. He had 34 saves.

The game was tied 0-0 after one period and 2-2 after the second. Winston-Salem took a 3-2 lead in the third before the Cats scored three unanswered goals to grab the win. Carr was credited with the game-winning goal after scoring at the 17:02 mark on an assist from Patterson and Degurse.

The two teams meet again tomorrow night in Winston-Salem.
