Channel Cats Get Win over Knoxville

November 22, 2003 - South East Hockey League (SEHL) - Huntsville Channel Cats News Release

Huntsville, AL – The Huntsville Channel Cats scored two goals in the first period and held on for a 4-2 win over the Knoxville Ice Bears in front of 1,487 fans Saturday night.

Dan Buccella led the Cats with two goals and one assist, while Allan Carr and Dan Kletke also scored goals. Buccella, Kletke and Joel Bresciani all had assists while Jessi Otis tallied three.

Todd MacIssac and K.J. Vorhees each scored a goal for Knoxville, while Nolan Wier had an assist.

Matt Carmichael took a shutout into the third period before giving up two goals. He stopped 45 shots.

Buccella and Kletke put the Cats on the board in the first period. Allan Carr scored his goal in the third and Buccella added his second goal in the third.

Buccella was named the number one star, Keltke was the number two star and Otis was named number three.

The Channel Cats will host Knoxville again on Thursday night at 7:05.
