
Chadwick Assigned to AHL Marlies

LETHBRIDGE, AB - The Lethbridge Hurricanes Hockey Club have announced that 2005-born defenceman Noah Chadwick has been assigned to the American Hockey League's Toronto Marlies.
Chadwick, 18, was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the sixth-round (185th overall) in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft. The Saskatoon, SK, product signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Leafs in December. Chadwick registered a career-high 56 points (12g-44a) along with 24 penalty minutes and a plus-13 rating in 66 regular season games while adding one assist and two penalty minutes in four post-season games. He finished atop the Hurricanes in defenceman scoring while finishing fourth among Eastern Conference rearguards in the WHL.
The former second-round draft pick (38th overall) in the 2020 WHL Prospects Draft became the first 'Canes defenceman to reach the 50-point plateau in a season since Calen Addison and Alex Cotton accomplished the feat during the 2019- 2020 season. Chadwick has skated in 146 career regular season games with Lethbridge amassing 79 points (19g-60a) along with 44 penalty minutes. He had added two assists and two penalty minutes in 12 career playoff games.
Chadwick was named the WHL's Central Division Scholastic Player of the Year in 2023-2024. He was named the recipient of the Hurricanes Scholastic Player of the Year and the 'Canes Top Defenceman.
