
Chad Bennett Named Sons of Hockey Star of the Week

Syracuse, NY - The Federal Hockey League announced today that Dayton Demolition forward Chad Bennett has been selected as the Sons of Hockey Star of the Week for the period ending Jan. 24, 2016.
Bennett recorded a season high five points in a 7-6 overtime win on Friday against the Danville Dashers. Chad scored one goal and helped on four others on the way to the win.
Chad would then follow up with a helper in a 3-2 overtime win against Danville on Sunday.
A 24-year-old native of Burlington, ON, is in his second professional season. In five regular season games split between Berlin and Dayton, Bennett has recorded one goal and five assists.
Chad was a 2015 FHL Commissioners Cup Champion with the Watertown Wolves. Before joining the Wolves Bennett spent two season at SUNY-Fredonia and four seasons in the Ontario Junior Hockey League with Brampton and Aurora.
Chad is the first Demolition player to earn weekly honors.
