
CFL Statement On A.J. Gass

Toronto, ON - (August 8, 2007) - The Canadian Football League (CFL) announced today that it has imposed a one-game suspension on linebacker A.J. Gass of the Edmonton Eskimos for his involvement in an altercation in which he threw an opponent's helmet in the August 4th game against the Calgary Stampeders at Commonwealth Stadium.
The one-game suspension is pending a formal review hearing that may be requested by the player.
