
CFL Announces Player Fines

TORONTO - The Canadian Football League announced today that it has fined Saskatchewan Roughrider defensive back Dwight Anderson for making a "throat slashing" gesture towards the Edmonton Eskimos bench and being abusive towards officials during last Saturday's game.
Anderson received two objectionable conduct penalties during the game for his above actions.
As per league policy, the amount of the fine is not disclosed.
