SHREVEPORT 6, FORT WORTH 3 @ Shreveport, La. Time: 2:18 ATT: 888 W: John Vigue (2-1) L: Ray Beasley (0-1) S: None HR: SHR - Chad Gambill (9), FTW - Jason Radwan (3)

The Sports broke a 3-3 tie in the bottom of the eighth scoring three runs to take the 6-3 victory over the Cats. John Vigue picked up his second win of the season, going two innings, allowing no hits and no runs. Shreveport shortstop Enohel Polanco went 3-for-4 at the plate, while catcher Jason Torres and DH Chad Gambill each had two RBIs. Cats reliever Ray Beasley lost his first game of the season, giving up the three runs in the bottom of the eighth. Fort Worth catcher Jason Radwan hit his third homer of the season going 1-for-3 at the plate, with two RBIs.

SAN ANGELO 12, EL PASO 1 @ El Paso, Texas. Time: 2:24 ATT: 2484 W: David McWatters (3-1) L: Aaron Dean (0-2): None HR: SAC - Jorge Alvarez(11), J.P. Schmidt (10),EPD - Bert Aguilar (2)

The Colts outhit the Diablos 19-9 as they beat El Paso 12-1. San Angelo start David McWatters picked up his third win of the season, throwing his first complete game of the season. Three Colts batters had three hits apiece, as all but two players in the starting lineup got hits. Aaron Dean got the loss for El Paso. Dean gave up seven earned runs in three and a third innings of work. Catcher Ben Rosenthal led the Diablos offense going 2-for-4 at the plate.

COASTAL BEND 18, EDINBURG 7 @ Robstown, Texas. Time: 3:24 ATT: 1515 W: Dan Henderson (2-3) L: Jose Munoz (0-2) S: None HR: CBA - Jack Joffrion (5), Mike Guerrero (4)

The Aviators outhit the Roadrunners 16-8 as Coastal Bend crushed Edinburg 18-7. Each Aviator hitter had at least one hit, while more than have had a multi-hit game. Aviator reliever Dan Henderson picked up his second win of the season, going three innings allowing three hits and no earned runs, while striking out four. Both DH Kenny Hansley and shortstop Jack Joffrion drove in three runs for the Aviators. Pitcher Jose Munoz lost his second game of the season, going two-thirds of an inning, giving up four hits and five earned runs. Third baseman Eddie Lara led the Roadrunner offense going 2-for-3 at the plate with two RBIs.
