New Orleans VooDoo News Release

NEW ORLEANS - The NET10 Wireless Arena Football League will return to CBS Sports Network for the second consecutive season with a slate of 20 regular season games, the League office announced today.

The CBS Sports Network will broadcast two New Orleans VooDoo games in the 2014 season: Friday, April 11, at the Pittsburgh Power and Saturday, May 10, at the Philadelphia Soul.

The complete "NET10 Wireless Arena Football Saturday" telecast schedule features at least one match-up for every AFL team over the 20-week regular season, beginning with the first Portland Thunder game in franchise history, as they take on the San Jose SaberCats on Monday, March 17, 2014 (10:00 p.m., ET).

The second National Game of the Week contest will feature a rematch of last season's National Conference championship game, as the Arizona Rattlers host the Spokane Shock. The "War on I-4" returns to CBS Sports Network in Week 3, as the Orlando Predators travel to the Tampa Bay Times Forum to battle the Tampa Bay Storm. The first month of the 2014 season finishes off with the first home game in LA KISS franchise history, as the expansion team plays host to another first-year franchise, the Portland Thunder, in front of a national television audience on CBS Sports Network. Overall, the LA KISS will appear four times on the Network throughout the season.

CBS Sports Network also will televise postseason match-ups through the semifinal round. The 2014 season is CBS Sports Network's second as the primary national television partner of the AFL. CBS Sports Network is available across the country to more than 99 million households through local cable, video and telco providers, and via satellite on DirecTV Channel 221 and Dish Network Channel 158.
