CBC to present Friday night semi-final November 5th

The road to the Grey Cup game begins in earnest on the CFL ON CBC with a special Friday night prime-time East Division Semi-Final game. On Nov. 5, beginning at 7 p.m. ET, host Brian Williams and the CFL ON CBC PRE-GAME SHOW precede a duel between the Hamilton Tiger Cats and the Toronto Argonauts at SkyDome, at 7:30 p.m. ET on CBC Television.

The West Division Semi-Final gets underway on Sunday, November 7 at 3:30 p.m. ET with the CFL ON CBC PRE-GAME SHOW, hosted by Williams, and followed by exclusive coverage of the matchup between the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Edmonton Eskimos on the CFL ON CBC. The location of the game will be decided following the Roughriders final game of the regular season this Sunday.

On Sunday, Nov. 14, the CFL ON CBC offers up a sudden-death doubleheader when the B.C. Lions play host to the West Division Championshiop beginning at 3:30 p.m. ET at B.C. Place with the CFL ON CBC PRE-GAME SHOW, and the Montreal Alouettes host the WestJet East Division Championship at 7 p.m. ET at Olympic Stadium.

Then, on Sunday, Nov. 21, the eyes of the nation fall on Ottawa when the city hosts the 92nd Grey Cup Championship. The entire CFL ON CBC crew are on site to bring home all the pageantry and excitement that surround the annual fall classic beginning at 4 p.m. ET.
