Wyoming Cavalry News Release

Casper, WY - Sixteen days and counting until the BIG JUMP! The Special Olympics Wyoming Jackalope Jump - Jumpin' for Somethin' - is set for March 4, 2006 in Laramie at the LaPrele Park in the Huck Finn Pond. Have you or someone you know signed up to jump? Have you pledged your support to someone CRAZY enough to jump?

Mike Layton, General Manager for the Wyoming Cavalry professional indoor football team, has signed on to jump and help raise money for Special Olympics Wyoming. He has also challenged Danny Tetzlaff, General Manager of the Casper Rockies Pioneer League to do the same. "We have an agreement that if either of us raises $1000 and the other doesn't, they have to go head-first into the icy pond," says Layton. "I am calling on all my business associates and football peers to help me raise money for Special Olympics Wyoming - and beat Tetzlaff!" To donate to this great cause, and to help Layton beat Tetzlaff, click on http://www.firstgiving.com/michaellayton and follow the easy instruction.
