South Burlington, Vt.-The Vermont Frost Heaves announced today that Scott Caulfield, the team's strength and conditioning coach and director of camps, has joined the River Valley Club of Lebanon, N.H., as a movement specialist.
Caulfield, whose strength program was featured in the online fitness magazine EliteFTS.com for its role in helping the Frost Heaves win an American Basketball Association title in their first season, will continue to advise head coach Will Voigt on strength and conditioning. In addition, he will remain as director of the team's camps, which included 10 Have-A-Ball Kids Camps around the state this summer, and another five Frost Heaves Basketball Academy weekend clinics, geared to high school players, set for October.
"Scott's dedication to his profession and his winning touch with people has made him essential to the culture of success we tried to establish right out of the gate," said Vermont team president Alexander Wolff. "Upper Valley residents are lucky that they'll be able to enjoy the strategies Scott developed for our elite athletes in their own fitness regimens. We wish him the best with this latest step in his career."
