Cats Sign Veteran Pitcher

The off Season Signing season began today for The Edmonton Cracker Cats. The ball club announced they have put pen to paper with left handed pitcher Jordie Alexander.

At 6 feet and 180 lbs, born in Edmonton, Alexander turned pro with Tri City in The Western League in 1996. Alexander has also seen service with Spokane ii The North West League, landing in the Mid West League, Reno in The Western League, Madison and Winnipeg in The Northern League, as well as stops in Long Beach , Chico, Quebec, New Haven, and Cancun in The Mexican Triple A League.

A life time record of 48 and 38 with a 4.48 earned run average, Alexander will compete for a job in the Cracker Cats starting rotation when training camp opens in early May.
