Indiana Legends News Release

Indianapolis, March 25--Battling each closely in a heated contest, Darren Kelly got loose under the basket and leapt for an easy layup. Ed Johnson arrived and fouled Kelly - hard. Arms flailed, bodies bumped. It was an unusual scene at an ABA game, but this was Indiana and Kentucky. Both players were ejected following the second period fracas.

The ProCats eventually handed the slumping Legends their fourth straight loss 120-115 Monday at Arlington High School. Tuesday evening the Legends (10-19) face the daunting task of trying to break the 18-game winning streak of the league leading Kansas City Knights (28-5).

David Shelton lead all scorers with 35 points as all the Kentucky starters tallied double figures. Michael Elliot led the hosts with 28 as all the Legends starters also registered a dozen or more points. Willie Ladson blocked five Kentucky shots. Kentucky (11-19) is scheduled to play at Detroit Wednesday.
