Casper Ghosts News Release
Casper- The Casper Ghosts Baseball Club is seeking Hosts families to house players for the 2009 season. The Hosts family program has been in place since the team's inaugural season and gives local families a chance to be a part of the club by housing potential future Colorado Rockies stars. The players are between the ages of 18 and 23 and must adhere to the strict rules put in place by the home owners and the Colorado Rockies.
Current Rockies like Dexter Fowler, Ubaldo Jimenez, Manny Corpas, Franklin Morales all got their start in Casper and took part in the host family program.
Hosts families provide a room and meals for players during the season. In exchange the family receives game tickets, the chance to attend private team functions, and a lifetime of great memories. If you have a spare room and want to help a young player follow his dream contact Casper Ghosts Director of Community Relations Chris Maxwell at 307-232-1111 for more information.
