Casper Ghosts announce 10th Anniversary Logo Design Contest for Fans

Casper- The Casper Ghosts are pleased to announce that to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the team's history in Casper they will be holding a contest for one lucky fan to design the teams 10th anniversary logo. The logo will be the main element of the Ghosts marketing plan for 2010 and will be featured on everything from t-shirts, programs, caps and cards to the teams' letterhead and office supplies. The contest is open to Ghost's fans everywhere and entries must be in by noon on October 31, 2009.
"The logo is the most important symbol of this very special season for us and it just seemed logical that it should be a fan who designs it since it's the people of Wyoming who have made our time here so successful" said General Manager Mike Sandler.
The team will select one winner from all of the entries and the winner will be announced on November 2, 2009. The winner will receive 2 season tickets for the Ghosts 2010 season, an article in the Ghosts program, and will throw out the first pitch on Opening Day 2010.
"The only rule is that there really are no rules it's up to the fan's imagination. Ideally we would like to see it incorporate a 10 on their somewhere but who knows maybe somebody has a better way to express it that we never even thought of" says Asst. GM Chris Maxwell " That's the fun of something like this you never know what great ideas you might get"
"It's a great art project for the local schools and community centers. We really would love to see the fans embrace this idea and be a big part of this celebration" Sandler added
Fans need only draw out their ideas on a sheet of paper and send it to the Ghosts. No experience is needed. The Ghosts will have a graphic artist transfer the image and make it ready for production.
"All you need is a piece of paper and something to write with. The idea is what's important not the quality of the drawing" says Maxwell
Entries may be submitted three ways; by email, mail, or by stopping by the Ghosts office between 9am and 5pm weekdays.
