
Carson Riddle Announces Collegiate Commitment to Aurora University

AUSTIN, MN - The Austin Bruins, proud members of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are pleased to announce that Bruins' Captain and Forward Carson Riddle has announced his commitment to continue his education and to play NCAA Division III hockey at Aurora University.
"I'm super thankful for my time in Austin and the experience I had," said the Holly, Michigan native Riddle. I'm excited to get to Aurora and continue my Hockey and Academic Career!"
Riddle leaves the Bruins as #4 All-Time in Points (120P), #5 All-Time in Goals (48G), and #1 All-Time in Games Played (207 GP) in franchise history. Carson joined the Bruins during the 2018-2019 Season and was an Alternate Captain during the 2020-21 season and was named the 11th Captain for the Bruins for the 2021-22 Season.
"We are beyond excited for Carson", Head Coach Steve Howard said. "He is a great leader in the locker room and on the ice. He's been a big part of our program for four seasons and will fit in well at Aurora."
Riddle will be joining teammate, Alex Trombley, at Aurora as Trombley announced his commitment to the Aurora Spartans last week. Aurora University is a private university located in Aurora, Illinois. Aurora competes at the NCAA Division III level and is a member of the NCHA (Northern Collegiate Hockey Association) and plays out of the Fox Valley Ice Arena.
