Atlantic City, NJ, March 28, 2004 â The CardSharks are now preparing to travel to Staten Island on Saturday, April 3rd to face fellow expansion team Staten Island. The Xtreme open in Wheeling on Monday, March 29th against the defending Champion Ohio Valley Greyhounds. The CardSharks fell short in their first game as a franchise to the Show Me Believers in St. Charles, Missouri.
"This game was a disappointment, but we will learn from it and move forward," stated General Manager and Head Coach Mike Siani. "We will evaluate the film from the Show Me game, then we must focus on our next opponent, Staten Island."
The CardSharks will come home to play their first game in Boardwalk Hall on April 10th at 7:30 PM, against the Greenville Riverhawks.
