JOLIET, IL - The 2010 Caravan Tour travels to Charleston's Bar and Grill in New Lenox tonight from 7-9 p.m. It's one of your final opportunities to meet and greet the 2010 JackHammers before the regular season begins. Charleston's is located at 2101 Calistoga Drive in New Lenox. The last Caravan Tour date is scheduled for Saturday at the Westfield-Louis Joliet Mall from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Below is the remaining tour dates.

JackHammers to Broadcast Three Spring Training Games
JOLIET, IL - The JackHammers don't open the regular season until May 21st in Fargo, but the grind of minor league baseball begins today as the Orange Crush begin a stretch of six straight days with a game. Three of those contests will air on the flagship home for JackHammers baseball, 1340 WJOL.
The JackHammers face off against the Windy City ThunderBolts at Silver Cross Field this morning at 11:10 a.m. It's the first of four contests against Windy City as the two teams alternate between Silver Cross Field and Standard Bank Stadium in Crestwood, with Thursday and Saturday games in Joliet and Friday and Sunday in Crestwood. The two games road affairs (Friday and Sunday) will both be on the air. Friday is a 7:05 p.m. first pitch and Sunday is scheduled for 2:05 p.m. Both games will feature a ten minute pre-game show.
The JackHammers wrap up the exhibition slate with two games against the expansion Normal CornBelters in the Frontier League on Monday, May 17th and Tuesday, May 18th. Monday's game at Silver Cross Field is the final Spring Training game to air on 1340 WJOL. First pitch is set for 7:10 p.m. Joliet makes the trip down to Normal on Tuesday for a 1 p.m. start time.

Player Spotlight: Justin Justice
JOLIET, IL - Spring Training is underway and now the JackHammers begin their quest for their first playoff berth since 2002. Every day until Opening Day on Friday, May 21st in Fargo-Moorhead, a different player will be under the spotlight giving all fans an opportunity to learn the 2010 JackHammers. Today features outfielder Justin Justice.

Loose Gravel: Justice was a key member of the 2009 Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks, which won the Northern League crown. Justin finished second in the league in triples (eight) and fourth in slugging percentage (.524). He spent five years in the Tigers organization after being selected in the 31st round of the 2003 draft out of Lake Sumter Community College.
