
Captains To Hold Job Fair This Saturday

SHREVEPORT, La. - Ever wanted to work in pro baseball? Want to be part of the excitement of the return of the Captains? Now you have your chance. The Shreveport-Bossier Captains are holding a job Fair at Fair Grounds Field this Saturday, March 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with openings in all gameday positions - including working during the Buffalo Wild Wings/Shreveport Times High School Baseball Series, the College Baseball Series, tournaments, concerts and other extra events.
The team is looking for ticket sellers, ticket takers, ushers, concessions, grounds crew, souvenir vendors, waiters/waitresses, bartenders, diamond girls. Bring your resume and the right attitude, and help the Captains make 2010 even better than 2009.
The Shreveport-Bossier Captains open the 2010 season in Fort Worth on May 13, and will be on the road for the first series of the year. The home opener is a day-night doubleheader against Pensacola on Tuesday May 18. All games will be broadcast on ESPN Radio, KRMD-1340 AM as well as streaming live on supertalk1340.com.
