Spotlight on Millennium Sports Management

For those of you interested in the inner workings of Skylands Park, we would like to share some information on Millennium Sports Management, the company that owns and oversees the facility, including the batting cages. Millennium Sports Management takes care of all the stadium maintenance at Skylands Park under the care of stadium operator Bob Adams.

Bob took over the day-to-day operations of the facility near the end of the 2008 season and his impact can already be noticed. Bob has made great strides in dealing with the backlog of maintenance issues here at the stadium since he took over, fixing or replacing many things that needed it due to the aging of Skylands Park. There are a host of projects that Millennium and Bob are working on, however, the four major projects that are currently underway are the improvement of: 1. Bathrooms, 2. Scoreboard, 3. Stadium Seats, 4. Parking lot.

In addition, Bob and Millennium have re-outfitted the batting cages, preparing them for a new grand opening on February 6th. The cages will be open to the public on Fridays from 4-9 P.M., Saturdays from 9 A.M. to 6 P.M. and Sundays from Noon to 6 P.M. Bob has taken great care in getting the cages up and running again and should be commended for his hard work. In addition to just the batting cages, you can mini-golf or hit the arcade they have available. For more information call 973-383-7644.
