Cane Cutters Defeat Marshals 6-1

August 2, 2015 - Texas Collegiate League (TCL) - Texas Marshals News Release

Tonight at Fabacher Field, the Acadiana Cane Cutters defeated the Texas Marshals by a final score of 6-1. Here is the box score from tonight's game:

Dylan Porter earned the loss for the Marshals, going five innings and giving up six runs (four earned) while striking out two. Mitchell Andrews had the lone RBI for the Marshals, and he went 1-for-3 with a walk for the game.

Hunter Medine earned the win for Acadiana. He went six innings, gave up no runs and struck out six batters. The Cane Cutters had three batters each with two hits and one RBI: Vincent, Short and Robbins.

Tomorrow night the Marshals travel to the Woodlands to face the Strykers. Game time is 7:05 pm and it will be the first of a two-game series.
