Your second half leading Acadiana Cane Cutters will return to Fabacher Field this Tuesday and Wednesday night to square off against the visiting first place overall Brazos Valley Bombers. Acadiana has picked up right where they left off before the All-Star Break this week, winning 3 of their last 4 games and improving their second half record to a league-leading 7-1!

Powerade Player of the Week
This week's Powerade Player of the Week is starting pitcher Nick Zaunbrecher.
Zaunbrecher, who just finished his freshman campaign at the University of Louisiana - Lafayette, pitched a complete game shutout against the Woodlands Strykers Friday night, earning his first win after striking out 5 batters in his 9 innings of work. Zaunbrecher's stellar performance was the second complete game turned in by the Cane Cutters this season.
