New Hampshire 4, Sussex 3

The American Defenders pounded out 13 hits en route to a 4-3 win against Sussex at home. New Hampshire LF Greg Lemon led the way offensively, going 4-for-4 with a run scored and a RBI out of the leadoff spot. American Defenders RF Angel Molina also had a big game. He was 2-for-4 with a double, a home run and two RBI. New Hampshire starting pitcher Miguel Flores allowed two runs, one earned on five hits in six innings of work to earn the win, his third of the season. American Defenders closer Juan Padilla survived a scare in the ninth, allowing a run on three hits, and hung on to earn his seventh save.

Worcester 5, Brockton 1

@ Worcester, MA. Time: 2:32 Attendance: 1,336 W: Matt Weagle (1-2) L: Freddy Flores (0-1) S: None HR: BR-Palmer Karr (6); WT-Garrett Olson (3), Alex Trezza (4) The Worcester Tornadoes scored twice in the first inning to take a 2-0 lead and they never looked back, en route to a 5-1 victory. Tornadoes starting pitcher Matt Weagle went five scoreless innings, allowing six hits, to earn his first win of the season. Worcester SS Garrett Olson led the way at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI. Tornadoes C Alex Trezza also had a good game. He was 2-for-3 with a double and a solo home run. Brockton DH Palmer Karr was 1-for-2 with a solo home run in the losing effort.

New Jersey 11, Quebec 10

In a roller-coaster game that lasted nearly four hours, the New Jersey Jackals held on to nab an 11-10 win, the team's 13th victory in a row. Trailing 8-0, New Jersey didn't get a run on the board until the fifth inning, cutting the deficit to 8-1. But the offense got rolling in the sixth, scoring six runs, making the score 8-7. The Jackals tied the game the very next inning, and scored three more times in the eighth to go up 11-8. Quebec rallied to score two in the bottom of the ninth, but fell short of snapping New Jersey's streak. Jackals CF Quentin Davis led the way at the plate. He was 4-for-5 with three runs scored and a RBI.
