Rockland 8, Trois-Rivieres 6
Rockland C Joe Maloney launched a two-run shot in the top of the ninth inning to break a 6-6 tie and lift the Boulders to an 8-6 win over the Trois-Rivieres Aigles. Maloney had a 1-for-4 game with two runs scored and two RBI. Rockland 2B Matt Nandin and SS Steve Nyisztor each had three hits in the contest with Nandin driving in two runs and Nyisztor scoring two. Boulders reliever Taylor Mangum tossed a 1/3 of an inning with a strikeout to pick up the win and improve his record to 4-0 on the season.
Quebec 12, New Jersey 2
It was all Quebec in this one as the Capitales roll past the New Jersey Jackals by the score of 12-2. Quebec had 15 hits in the game with five hitters collecting at least two. Capitales SS Jonathan Malo had two hits along with scoring two runs and driving in two. Quebec C Jean-Luc Blaquiere drove in two runs and hit his fifth home run of the season while SS Asif Shah plated three runs. Capitales starting pitcher Zach Staniewicz evened his record at 4-4 with the win. He went seven innings allowing an earned run on six hits.
