Quebec 7, Newark 0

Quebec starter Dustin Crenshaw pitched seven scoreless innings against the Newark Bears, helping the Capitales to a 7-0 win. Crenshaw (5-1) allowed five hits and struck out seven. He has fanned 26 batters and walked only five in six starts this season. 2B Jonathan Malo batted 3-for-4 with a double, a stolen base, three runs scored and an RBI. When Malo set the table in the No. 2 hole, cleanup hitter Rene Leveret brought him home. Leveret went 2-for-5 with two RBI. CF Sebastien Boucher didn't record a hit in the game, but brought home two runs with sacrifice flies.

Fargo-Moorhead 7, New Jersey 4 (10 innings)

3B Ray Bourquin's bases-clearing, two-out double in the top of the 10th inning surged the RedHawks past New Jersey, 7-4. The Jackals threatened in the bottom of the 10th, bringing the tying run to the plate, but closer Chase Johnson induced a groundout to second base to pick up his first win of the season. The RedHawks trailed 3-1 until the 7th inning when DH Tim Alberts tripled in a run, and RF Buddy Sosnoskie drove in another with a fielder's choice to tie the game. In the eighth, the RedHawks' CF Nic Jackson scored on an error to give Fargo-Moorhead the lead, but it was short-lived, as Newark's 1B Chris Duffy scored on a wild pitch, setting the stage for Bourquin's clutch hit. Jackson led all hitters with four hits in the game.

Rockland 7, Trois-Rivieres 4

Rockland scored six runs in the third and fourth innings and held on despite a late push from the Aigles to win 7-4. Three RBI singles and a sacrifice fly fueled the Boulders' third-inning rally, and Rockland added two more runs in the fourth on a wild pitch and sacrifice fly. RF Jerod Edmondson, CF Donnie Webb and LF Chris Edmondson all had multi-hit games for the Boulders. Chris Edmondson reached base in all five plate appearances, batting 3-for-3 with two walks and a team-high two RBI. Starter Cameron Bayne (2-1) allowed two earned runs in six innings and struck out seven in the win. Closer Kevin Fuqua earned his ninth save by pitching a scoreless ninth.
