SS Chas Terni went 4-for-4 with two RBI to lead New Haven County past Sussex 6-4. RF Orlando Encarnacion added two hits of his own to the Cutters attack. Relief pitcher Mark Comolli pitched a scoreless eighth inning to pick up the win and move to 2-0 on the season. Closer Andy Weimer pitched the final 2/3 of the ninth inning to notch his seventh save of the season. Sussex 3B Elvis Corporan went 1-for-4 with a homerun to lead the Skyhawks at the plate in the losing effort.

Brockton 5, Quebec 4

1B Francisco Lebron went 2-for-4 with two RBI to help Brockton knock off Quebec 5-4. C Jason Radwan added a homerun and an RBI to the Rox attack as well. Relief pitcher Kyle George picked up the win, while closer Jon Koch got the save, his sixth of the season. Despite his team losing and having to leave the game following the rain delay, Quebec starting pitcher Gabe Ribas was strong on the mound, going five scoreless innings and allowing only three hits. At the plate, 3B Alex Garcia led the Capitales with three hits and two RBI.

Worcester 12, Nashua 5

3B Jeff Lahair went 3-for-4 with three RBI to lift Worcester to a 12-5 victory over Nashua. C Onix Mercado added two hits and scored two runs for the Tornadoes attack as well. Relief pitcher Greg Montalbano pitched three scoreless innings to pick up the win, his second of the season. Nashua SS Elliott Ayala went 1-for-3 with a double and three RBI to lead the Pride at the plate in the losing cause.

The game was postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader beginning at 5:05 PM on Wednesday, July 5th. Both games will be seven innings.
