Quebec 6, Pittsfield 1 (Quebec wins the championship, 3-1)
The Quebec Capitales scored two runs in the first inning and three more in the third to take a 5-0 lead and would cruise from there to a 6-1 victory and win their second consecutive Can-Am League championship. RF Sebastien Boucher was the star for Quebec tonight as he went 3-for-5 at the plate with a double, two runs scored, two home runs and five RBIs. Capitales SS Ivan Naccarata also chipped in with three hits, scored two runs and drove in one. Quebec starting pitcher Michel Simard notched his second win of the postseason going seven innings allowing only an earned run on three hits with five strikeouts.
