Brockton starting pitcher Freddy Flores allowed two runs on six hits while striking out four in a complete game effort to lead the Rox to an easy 13-2 win against Sussex. With the victory, Flores ran his mark to 4-3 on the season. Leading the way at the plate for Brockton was DH Palmer Karr. Karr finished 2-for-6 with a triple, a home run, a pair of runs scored and three RBI. Every hitter in the Rox lineup had at least one hit, including SS Dom Ramos, who led all hitters, going 4-for-6 with a pair of runs scored.

The Quebec Capitales got a great outing from starting pitcher Chris Allen and cruised to victory against Worcester on the road. Allen went seven innings, allowing four hits while striking out three to earn his fifth win of the season. Quebec RF Sebastien Boucher led the way offensively, going 2-for-4 with a double, a run scored and a RBI. DH Douglas Toro also pitched in with a 1-for-2 effort in which he walked twice, scored twice and stole a base.

New Hampshire 8, New Jersey 6

HR: NH-Zane Chavez (3), Jerod Edmondson (13)

New Hampshire held on late to beat New Jersey, 8-6, and take three of four in the series. American Defenders starting pitcher Nick Asselin picked up the win to improve his record to 8-6 on the season. New Hampshire reliever Adam Piechowski took over with runners on second and third and one out in the ninth inning, but held on to the two run lead to earn his first save of the year. American Defenders 1B Jerod Edmondson led the way at the plate. He was 3-for-4 with a home run, three runs scored and two RBI.
