The Quebec Capitales get off to a good start in the second half by edging the Ottawa Rapidz on the road. Tied 6-6 heading into the ninth inning, Capitales 1B Eddie Lantigua singled home CF Issael Gonzalez from second base to give Quebec a 7-6 lead. Capitales' reliever Jason Schutt shut down the Rapidz in the bottom of the ninth inning and preserved the win. Schutt notched his second win of the season by pitching 1 2/3 scoreless innings. SS Juan Infante led the way at the dish for Ottawa in the losing effort going 2-for-3 with three runs scored. Rapidz LF Jereme Milons chipped in with a first inning three-run blast, his fourth of the season.
