New Jersey 6, Rockland 3 - Box Score

New Jersey scored three runs in the fifth inning to take a 6-3 lead and would go on to defeat Rockland by that same margin. With the victory, the Jackals completed the three-game sweep of the Boulders.

Left fielder Alfredo Marte led the way offensively for New Jersey going 1-for-3 with a home run, two runs scored and three RBIs. Jackals 2B Nelson Ward and SS Santiago Chirino combined for three runs and four hits while CF David Harris added a hit in three official at-bats and drove in a pair of runs. In total, New Jersey had nine hits in the contest.

Jackals starter Justin Brantley gave up three earned runs over seven innings of work and grabbed his sixth win of the season. Brantley (6-4) allowed a walk and eight hits while fanning four Rockland batters.

For the Boulders in the loss, 1B Matt Oberste had a 3-for-4 night with a run scored and an RBI.

Sussex County 7, Quebec 1 - Box Score

Sussex County completed the three-game sweep of Quebec as they beat the Capitales by the final of 7-1. The Miners jumped out to a 5-1 lead after two innings and would never back en route to their sixth consecutive victory.

There were 11 hits collected by Sussex County tonight with eight batters in their lineup picking-up at least one. Miners 1B Audy Ciriaco and SS Cito Culver each had 2-for-4 nights with a run scored and an RBI while 3B Nate Coronado drove in a pair of runs in a 1-for-4 outing. Second baseman Trey Hair also helped the Sussex County offense by launching a two-run home run in the fifth inning.

Miners starting pitcher Andrew Gist tossed seven solid innings and earned the win. The lefty allowed an earned run on seven hits with a walk and six strikeouts. With the victory, Gist is now 6-1 on the 2019 season.

For Quebec, SS Brandon Fischer went 1-for-3 and scored the team's lone run.

Trois-Rivieres 3, Ottawa 0 - Box Score

First baseman Juan Kelly blasted a solo home run in the seventh inning to give Trois-Rivieres a 1-0 lead and they would go on to defeat Ottawa by the score of 3-0. With the victory, the Aigles took two of three from the Champions and have now won six out of their last seven games.

Trois-Rivieres received a terrific pitching performance from starter Domenic Mazza and their four relievers. Mazza went the first five innings and allowed a walk and two hits while striking out seven batters. Tyler Ferguson, Elhaaj Muhammad, Cortland Cox and Garrett Mundell combined for four innings of relief and gave up only two hits and fanned six batters. Muhammad notched the win and is now 1-0 on the year while Mundell earned his 14th save.

Offensively for the Aigles, SS Tucker Nathans went 1-for-4 with two RBIs while CF Michael Suchy scored a run in a 1-for-2 night.
