Sussex County 7, Quebec 3 - Box Score

Sussex County will carry the Can-Am League's best record into the all-star break as they downed Quebec by the score of 7-3. The Miners fell behind 1-0 after two innings of play before scoring two in the third and four more over the fifth and sixth to take a commanding 6-1 lead.

There were 11 hits in the contest by Sussex County with three batters having multi-hit games. Miners DH Audy Ciriaco went 3-for-4 with a walk and two RBIs while 2B Trey Hair added a pair of hits and two runs batted in. Catcher Gavin Stupienski also aided the Sussex County offense by picking up three hits and scoring a run.

Miners starting pitcher Frank Duncan allowed two earned runs over eight innings of work and collected the victory. The righty gave up three hits while striking out six batters in a 90-pitch performance. With the win, Duncan is now 5-2 on the season.

Rockland 4, New Jersey 2 - Box Score

Rockland scored all four of their runs in the fourth inning and would go on to defeat New Jersey by the score of 4-2. The Boulders would score these four runs via doubles by DH Matt Oberste and RF Richie Fecteau and singles by C Blake Grant-Parks and SS Senoo Katsuya.

There were three batters who had multi-hit games for Rockland including 3B John Brontsema who went 2-for-4 with a run scored. Katsuya and Fecteau each collected two hits and a run batted in while 1B Collin Ferguson drew a pair of walks and scored a run. In total, the Boulders had nine hits in the contest.

Rockland starter Reinaldo Lopez tossed 5 1/3 solid innings to capture the victory. The righty allowed eight hits while striking out two in the 24 batters he faced. Lopez evened his mark at 3-3 with the win.

For New Jersey in the losing effort, CF Alfredo Marte and LF Conrad Gregor each had a 2-for-4 day with a run scored.

Trois-Rivieres 7, Ottawa 3 - Box Score

Trois-Rivieres scored four runs with two outs in the ninth inning to break a 3-3 tie and defeat Ottawa by a final of 7-3.

The Aigles had 11 hits in the contest with three batters collecting multi-hit games. Trois-Rivieres 3B Tucker Nathans went 2-for-4 with a run scored and two RBIs while SS Taylor Brennan had two hits in five at-bats along with three runs batted in. Aigles LF Raphael Gladu also chipped in a pair of hits and 2B David Glaude plated two runs.

Trois-Rivieres pitcher Cortland Cox tossed a scoreless eighth inning and picked-up the big victory. Cox struck out all three batters he faced in the frame and is now 2-2 on the year.

Left fielder Eduard Pinto had a 1-for-3 afternoon with two RBIs in the loss for the Champions.
