Rockland 8, Sussex County 7

Rockland scored four runs off of two home runs in the top of the ninth inning as the Boulders rallied past Sussex County, 8-7.

The Boulders had 11 hits in the contest and was led by Marcus Nidiffer who went 2-for-5 with a pair of home runs and six RBIs. Nidiffer's second blast was a three-run shot in the ninth to give Rockland the lead for good. Kevin Krause had a 3-for-4 night with two runs scored and an RBI while Conrad Gregor collected a pair of hits in four at-bats along with scoring two runs.

Boulders pitcher Nick Sarianides threw 3 2/3 innings out of the bullpen and picked-up his first win of the season. Sarianides allowed an earned run on two hits and struck out two.

The Miners had the bases loaded with no one out in the bottom of the ninth but could not score.

Quebec 4, Ottawa 3

James McOwen's two-run triple in the bottom of the eighth inning gave Quebec the lead for good as the Capitales defeated Ottawa by the final of 4-3.

Quebec had nine hits in the game with Phildrick Llewellyn leading the way going 2-for-4 with a pair of runs scored. Yordan Manduley collected two hits, a walk and an RBI while Adam Ehrlich drew two walks, scored a run and drove in one.

Capitales pitcher Will Dennis threw 1 1/3 scoreless innings of relief and picked-up the victory. Dennis gave up a walk and struck out one in the five batters he faced. With the win, the lefty is now 3-2 on the year.

For Ottawa in the loss, Vincent Guglietti had a 1-for-4 game with a run scored and an RBI.

New Jersey 7, Trois-Rivieres 1

New Jersey scored early and often as they jumped out to a 6-0 lead after three innings of play and rolled to a 7-1 win over Trois-Rivieres. The victory by the Jackals was their third straight.

Carlos Triunfel lead the New Jersey offense by going a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate with a home run, two runs scored and an RBI. Connor Hofmann had two doubles and two RBIs in a 2-for-4 night while Andy Mocahbee contributed a hit in two at-bats along with a run and two RBIs.

Jackals starting pitcher Mat Latos tossed seven shutout innings and notched his fourth win of the season. Latos gave up a pair of walks and six hits while fanning nine batters.

Javier Herrera had a 1-for-5 night and scored the lone run for the Aigles.
