Rockland 5, Lincoln 4

Rockland jumped out to a 4-0 lead after two innings and would hold off a late Lincoln rally to win, 5-4. Boulders CF Chris Valencia went 2-for-4 with a run scored and a RBI and LF Jon Smith had two hits and two runs scored. Rockland starting pitcher Pat Moran was the winner as he went six innings allowing two earned runs on seven hits with three strikeouts. The win by Moran was his sixth of the season. For Lincoln in the loss, DH Nate Wilder had a 1-for-4 game with a home run.

Quebec 3, New Jersey 2

Quebec scored a run in the eighth inning and one more in the ninth to overcome a 2-1 deficit and beat New Jersey, 3-2. Capitales were led offensively by 3B Jonathan Malo and 1B Josue Peley as they each had two hits in five at-bats. Quebec reliever TJ Stanton notched his third win as he tossed a scoreless inning allowing two hits while fanning two batters. These two teams will meet again on Wednesday night in Quebec as they play game one of the championship series.

Newark 2, Worcester 0

The Newark Bears scored both of their runs in the first inning and would make it hold up the rest of the way as they defeated the Worcester Tornadoes, 2-0. Third baseman D'Angelo Jimenez led the Newark offense going 2-for-3 with a run scored. Bears starting pitcher Pedro Rivera notched his fifth win of the season. Rivera went 6 1/3 innings allowing five hits and five walks with five strikeouts. For Worcester in defeat, CF Jerod Edmondson had two hits.
