Lincoln 7, Rockland 6

After falling behind 5-3 after five innings, Lincoln DH Nate Wilder hit a grand slam in the sixth to gave the Saltdogs a 7-5 lead and they would go on to win 7-6 over the Rockland Boulders. Lincoln CF Mike Provencher and 3B Bryan Pounds each had two-hit games with Provencher driving in two runs and Pounds scoring two runs. Saltdogs starting pitcher Ryan Sheldon was the winning pitcher as he gave up five earned runs on eight hits in five innings pitched. The victory by Sheldon improved his record to 7-4 on the season. For Rockland in the loss, DH John Smith went 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and a RBI.

New Jersey 3, Quebec 1

A solid pitching performance from the New Jersey pitching staff leads the Jackals to a 3-1 victory over Quebec. New Jersey starting pitcher Steve Fox threw the first six innings allowing only an unearned run on two hits with seven strikeouts. Fox picked up the win and is now 13-3 on the season. Jackals relievers Jeff Gogal, Jake Hale and Keith Cantwell took it the rest of the way allowing only a hit and a walk over the last three innings. Cantwell collected his 16th save of the season. Offensively for New Jersey, DH Edgard Clemente went 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs scored and a RBI.
