
Can-Am League Game Recap

The Worcester Tornadoes got a solid pitching performance from starting pitcher Dan Sausville as they beat the Newark Bears by the score of 7-2. Sausville went seven innings giving up only an earned run on nine hits with a walk and six strikeouts. The win by Sausville was his seventh of the season. Worcester was led offensively by C Chris Torres who went 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBI and 1B Michael Gedman who had a 2-for-3 game with three runs scored. For Newark in the loss, CF Charlie Stewart went 2-for-2 with a home run.
