Newark 6, Quebec 4

Newark rallied with three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to overcome a 4-3 deficit and beat the Quebec Capitales, 6-4. Catcher Orlando Mercado led the Bears offense going 2-for-4 with a double, a run scored and two RBI. Newark LF James Roche and DH Tucker Nathans collected two hits as well with Roche scoring two runs and Nathans driving in two. Bears reliever Sergio Espinosa notched his first victory as he allowed three hits and struck out two batters in two innings pitched. For Quebec in the loss, 3B Jonathan Malo had three hits.

New Jersey 3, Worcester 2

New Jersey completed the sweep of Worcester as the Jackals edged past the Tornadoes, 3-2. First baseman Francisco Caraballo and 3B Nick Giarraputo each had two hits in four at-bats and scored two of New Jersey's three runs. Jackals starting pitcher Mike Ness collected his first victory after a solid seven inning performance. Ness allowed two earned runs on eight hits with five strikeouts. New Jersey relievers Jeff Gogal and Keith Cantwell finished off the game giving up only a hit and fanning one batter. Cantwell picked up his 13th save of the season.

Fargo-Moorhead 4, Rockland 0

Fargo-Moorhead finished off the sweep of Rockland as the RedHawks shutout the Boulders by the score of 4-0. Four Fargo-Moorhead pitchers combined on a four-hit shutout. The starter, Tyler Herron, went the first 7 1/3 innings allowing three hits and striking out nine batters. Herron picked up the win and improved his record to 10-3 on the season. The three relievers, Kyle Dahman, Joe Harris and Tom Boleska went the rest of the way and struck out two batters while giving up only a hit. Shortstop Zach Penprase led the RedHawks offense going 3-for-5 with a run scored and a RBI.
